Specialized Programs

In light of increasing global challenges, we launched a series of specialized programs aimed at empowering individuals and communities to address various social and environmental issues. Through these programs, we seek to create a positive and sustainable impact, and aspire to enhance cooperation among participants and expand their influence in their communities.

1- Combating Violence Against Women and Girls:

We participated in preparing a guide for combating violence against women and girls in Arab higher education institutions under the sponsorship and funding of UNESCO's Regional Office. This project included the participation of many higher education institutions from across the Arab world. The guide was officially presented at the American University in Egypt.

2- Risk-Taking Program:

We launched a specialized program "Risk-Taking" targeting 130 community activists from various countries, focusing on familiarizing participants with the legal dimensions of community violence and providing training workshops on gender justice and equal opportunities. The program also included all youth proposals on reducing the phenomenon of violence.

3- Comprehensive Training Program for Youth Climate Action 2024:

The comprehensive training program for youth climate action continued for three months, targeting about 450 climate action institutions and entities from various countries. The program included a series of 16 workshops and specialized courses addressing several topics including addressing climate change, joint action for a safe environment, and providing sustainable resources. It also included training on how to obtain funding for implementing climate-related programs and projects, especially in developing countries. This program was implemented in partnership with Jerash University, the National Forum for Environment and Sustainable Development, and the Arab Youth Network for Sustainable Development.

4- Crisis Management and Obstacle Overcoming Program:

This program focused on discussing asylum issues and methods of integration in host communities, in addition to strategies for mitigating the effects of armed conflicts in the region. It also addressed the topic of strengthening community immunity to face various crises and focused on the role of media during crises.
The program included hosting a group of experts specialized in conflicts and crises. Among the program's outputs was the pursuit of developing an academic track for university students focusing on crises, conflicts, and international peace.

5- First Consultative Meeting Program:

With the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and the expansion of e-learning, the need emerged to evaluate the effectiveness of this type of education. In this context, we organized the "First Consultative Meeting" which brought together 14 Arab universities. The meeting aimed to exchange university experiences in e-learning and discuss strategies to improve its quality. This meeting resulted in providing practical insights and solutions to improve the e-learning experience and enhance its effectiveness.

6- University Knowledge Marathon:

The "University Knowledge Marathon" is a youth program for discussing various issues through organizing student competitions, challenges, and effective debates. The program provides students with the opportunity to transfer knowledge and achieve goals in an interactive and inspiring way. In its second season, the program witnessed the participation of 8 universities, reflecting its success and expanding influence in the academic community.
